As in previous years, attendees of the 2017 Munichtime watch show were afforded valuable insights into the world of premium mechanical watches. Over the last weekend in October, the Bayerischer Hof hotel in the heart of Munich embraced the theme of time and hosted more than 60 exhibitors from the world of watchmaking in its ballrooms. There was ample reason to celebrate, as this year marked the 10th anniversary of the prestigious watch exhibition. Unsurprisingly, Leinfelder Uhren München was among the exhibitors once again, presenting two new watch models to the public.
The Meridian Chrono Bavaria is an homage to the inimitable Bavarian esprit. White and blue lozenges, the unmistakable symbol of Bavaria, have featured prominently in countless coats of arms and official seals throughout the centuries. Now they grace the latest model by Leinfelder Uhren München: die Meridian Chrono Bavaria. A limited special edition, it is available in two styles.
Fabled creatures from the legends of mankind, dragons are today regarded as stalwart guardians and powerful companions. And since our imagination is often forced to take a backseat in real life, Leinfelder Uhren München has designed the Meridian Chrono Dragon to showcase this mythical symbol of good luck on the wearer’s wrist. The dial is graced with a particular style of dragon that the observant sailing fan will surely recognize. Just such a dragon is emblazoned on the Dragon Fly Plus, the speedy sailing boat of Prof. Dr. Ulrich L. Rohde.
